If anyone from Newcastle is reading this then I can heartily recommend World Headquarters (sorry can't find a better link) for a night out. I'm not a big clubbing fan but this was that something different that makes you think that clubbing isn't all that bad.
A very varied selection of music (I can remember Morrissey, The Happy Mondays, James Brown, The Rolling Stones and The Prodigy) that I knew and a lot of stuff that was "funky" that although I didn't know worked well together. That was a lot to do with the DJ who was very very good. He managed to mix some things together that you wouldn't have thought went together. And made it sound good.
