I've been waiting all day for these! Latest book uses Visual Web Developer Express and thought I'd have to shell out $49 for it. They're free at the moment so "get them while they're hot".
Microsoft have also released a CTP of the SQL Server Management Studio Express. One of the gripes that I always had with MSDE was that there was no decent management tool. They've now done the decent thing.
