I left my job today. Pastures new and all that (and self-employment!) but it seems a little strange. At least now I may have time to get book finished.
And speaking of BAND2 it's been one of them "all hands to the pumps" months. Its getting there and at the moment its every spare second to rewrites, copy-edits or proofs. At the moment each of the stages is as follows:
1st draft - 100% complete
2nd draft - 76.92% complete
copy edit - 53.85% complete
proof - 15.38% complete
So I've basically not had a life and piled into getting the book finished - hoping that it would be finished at about the same time as leaving my job. No such luck.
